National Emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan

National Emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan has round shape and represents the image of shanyrak (top arched part of yurt) against the blue background with uyks (supports) dispersed in the form of sun rays. To the right and to the left from the shanyrak there are images of mythic winged horses. On the top there is volumetric five-point star, and at the bottom we see inscription “Kazakhstan”. The image of the star, shanyrak, uyks, mythic winged horses and inscription “Kazakhstan” is of golden color.

The basic part of the National emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan is shanyrak. It is the heart of the emblem.

It is the hearth, integrity of the universe, symbol of principium of state, family. The winged tulpar (horse) is the image of immortality, eternal development and spiritual riches of peoples living in Kazakhstan under one shanyrak. Tulpar is the symbol of maintenance of system of sovereign Kazakhstan. The winged tulpar is the flight, dream, young generation with that all the hopes are connected.

The five-point star crowns the emblem. Each person has his guiding star. The state also must have such star.

The authors of the National emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan are the architects Shota Ualikhanov and Zhandarbek Malibekov.
