About activity KFM

Committee on financial monitoring was founded on the basis of the governmental order of the Republic of Kazakhstan from April 24, 2008 #387 as a part of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Chairman of the Committee for Financial Monitoring of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan is Utebaev Musiraly Smailovich.

On August 28, 2009 the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan signed Laws «Concerning the counteraction against laundering of illegally acquired proceeds and terrorism financing» and «concerning introduction of amendments and additions in some acts on legalization (washing up) of illegally acquired proceeds and terrorism financing ».
